Good news, I hope all goes to plan. The wind here is bitter cold this morning. I didn’t stay long to listen to the birds this morning. The blue tits seem to have got used to me, they come to the bird feeder only feet from my head.

Lovely picture John, the robin is always a welcome sight. I had to take mine down at home after seeing an enormous rat feeding in the seed the birds had dropped. One problem of living next to a canal x

What you say finds echoes in my heart. The price of loving, but I wouldn’t have missed it. Thinking about it, there must be thousands of us out there living our half lives against a backdrop of most people carrying on as normal. If they were able/willing to be with us in our grief what a huge difference that would make to our confidence to join in. As it is I feel required to be smiley and cheerful and interested. One neighbour even said to me ‘keep smiling!’. If there was some group wheee I could acceptably just go and not paint on a smile etc I’d give it a go, but my experience has been that most people can’t tolerate that. Thank goodness thought for the rare exceptions whom I treasure.

Good news about your move hope all goes well with it .my friend got the keys to her new flat last Friday, she had been waiting to move since last November. Your new bungalow looks lovely . Hope all goes well with it .
John that looks perfect, can you find somewhere like that for me? I want somewhere future proof, just have to decide where. Did it take you long to find?
Our rats are large water rats I think, hopefully you won’t have the same problem x

It’s a lovely sunny day here , hoping to finish painting the arbour today. Except for the roof I have to get my son to help me with that . What ever yo are all up to I hope you’re day goes as well as it can .
I’m glad you have help sorting it. I’ve realised I need help, Stephen always dealt with finances and tax so I’ve got an accountant coming. Just can’t bring myself to phone the old one and explain.
Throat and is much better thanks,sleep was better last night. The extra worries about our kids not speaking and looking for a new house aren’t helping.

My husband worked on his own in the company he had . He used to do everything to do with it on his own . Just a guy helping with the website. The website has been taken down. It a matter of shutting the company down with company house . That’s what my son is working on . I be glad when it’s all sorted. Hope all goes well when you meet the accountant. Hope you have a decent day .
