Hallo loveyababes. I’m so sorry about your husband and your loss. I have to say that I at 78 feel angry that my then 81 year old partner left me. Of course we were ‘old’ but we didn’t feel old at heart. My body is now produces an endless series of symptoms which frighten me, especially at the dreaded 3.30, and he’s not here to reassure me. I had a really good day yesterday, God knows why, and it feels like I’m paying for it now. Life can be so unfair. I don’t know how to end this except with banal wishes which are probably just words. Maybe I can say I hope it helps to know you’re not alone in your feelings.

I also lost the love of my life, 35 years together. Am thinking “why do I feel like I no longer belong” and I think is because home is where my heart is and my heart is with my husband, he is no longer here so this no longer feels like home, but merely the place where I live. I miss him terribly and I don’t see how I can grow old without him by my side.

Hi Heartbroken12, I have always said that every time I see a red sky at night or in the morning though I am not sure if I’ve ever seen any reality to it. Maybe it depends on the country you live in or it’s just rubbish. ,

I doubt it the weekend coming always a bad thing I find, mind you got to help son empty a swimming pool if I don’t fall in, its cold and dirty, got to keep busy ,go see a ex girlfriend and her hubby,I seem to visit a lot to get me out of house.

I am so sorry for your loss, my husband died suddenly from a heart attack.last September he was 64 year old just 6 days away from his birthday. We had been together for 36 years. I have had bereavement counselling and an attended a bereavement cafe once a month. Both of which have helped me . Might be worth you checking in your area to see if there is anything like that in your area . Posting on here really helps as well as we all understand what we are going through. Look after your self .

Beautiful sunny morning here , according to my weather app it going to sunny with no rain for the next 10 days . I am going into Chorley Market this morning to buy some fresh produce you can’t from the supermarket. Will call in a talking tables as well not been for a while. Morning all nice & sunny here with blue sky. Not a good start to today for me, woken at 4am with stomach cramps, followed by a full IBS flare up, spent over an hour in the bathroom, going very light headed & almost passing out. So scary now I’m on my own. Sitting having a coffee, feeling completely washed out. Hope every one has a better day than mine is currently.

Tigger o really feel for you. I find it very frightening when some physical symptom - plenty to choose from - becomes acute and even worse in the night and completely alone. I hope that daytime brings more relief and some perspective: I’ve finally got washed and dressed and am about to take the dog out, hoping that will help to restore my equilibrium. Thinking of you.
