Oh no I’m sorry to hear that, I hope you manage to have a restful evening ![]()
Thank everyone for your messages of support this afternoon. They really meant a lot to me .I have told my son what happened. We are going to find out how I go about taking my address of companies house . As I was on my own I felt really vulnerable. We had some sleet this afternoon, so waited till it stopped. Went for a long walk with my dog. Which seems to have helped. Tomorrow’s another day so hoping for a better day .
Wishing you a peaceful evening Sherbet
All the best

Goodnight all, not in a good place today. The pain in my heart is horrendous. I feel like a failure at 6 months in. Are you supposed to feel better now? I feel like giving up, as I just find it so hard to cope at the moment.
I wish all these agencies would get their acts together. I’m being haunted by HMRC about my deceased partner’s tax affairs. I’m not the executor of his estate as we were not married. It’s in the hands of a somewhat negligent solicitor. They’ve latched onto my name and now have sent me an intimidating letter saying I’m going to be fined for not completing his tax return. This is despite being told I’m not the executor and its not my fault if the other party’s solicitor hasn’t done it. I really don’t need the angst.
A similar thing happened to me , I received a letter from HMRC threatening to fine me . As my husband paid his tax for his company. I had to ring them tell them what had happened.I didn’t get an apology, but they did cancel the fine . All this financial affairs make the grief that bit harder.
