Such lovely photos … I love to see them ally. Deborah, Kathryn looks so beautiful and you have created an amazing tribute to her. Helen, I love the photo of you and Sam, he is so handsome and how lovely that he is holding you hand. Maddie, you and Dawn look so glamorous and happy together.
If only we could have our children here with us. It really brings it all home to me to see them. xxx

Helen, I will be thinking of you tomorrow it doesn’t get any easier as the years come around time and time again. I too wonder why we are still here when they aren’t, it hurts so bad. We have them in our heart and we carry their light with us wherever we go.

This is such a beautiful happy photo Victoria.

Deborah, it’s good to hear that you have been able to display photos of Kathryn. I was able to have photos around even though many many many times I have cried when I look at them but I also feel that a light is shining in the room from the photos.
Take care

I so understand. My nephew (who took his own life after Henry died) and now my sister in law’s memorial both held at the same Church as Henry’s funeral.

People don’t understand how that feels :broken_heart: but I know you all do. Thank you

We’ve all been to hell and back - every single one of us.
I’m thinking of you and all that pain on Sam’s birthday- you look so happy together- you are still linked, with him waiting just as Henry is…as all our children are.

Much love to you Helen.

Aww darling Deborah
I’m so happy you have managed to put photos up. What a beautiful young woman she was. Look at her when you can and talk to her, I’m so glad you have managed to do this.
I’m still thinking about the post you put up about your words to a bereaved mother, they really hit home with me and I keep reading it over and over.
Thank you for sharing a photo of your Kathryn

Hi Anne
Thank you, she was beautiful inside and out. My granddaughter Georgia is so like her, they were so close and her passing has hit her hard. Kathryn was a brilliant artist and Georgia has followed with the same talent, they have the same mannerisms as well its uncanny. My son is coming down today and bringing her and my grandson Harry.
Those words I feel apply to all that have lost a child at whatever age. My friend lost her son who was Kathryns friend two months ago when a car crashed into his motorbike. He was 42 and she is traumatised and in shock as I feel I still am. I had no words really to say to her as they wouldn’t have meant anything to her, all I say to her most days is sending love and I am thinking of you. Which I am, as only those that know, know her grief x
