I too have been down the last few days, and had headaches too.
I just looked it up, today is NOW MOON. The barometric pressure had been a bit down as well the last few days. Not so good for someone with very low blood pressure.

I don’t know what it was about Sundays. If you are in south Somerset you can borrow him. I think I have found a true gem. He sat and chatted to me and wouldn’t charge me for the time. Offered to cut hydrangeas from the garden and bring them in. Offered to sit and have tea with me to keep me company when he had finished. Is coming back in 4 weeks and if nothing needs doing won’t charge.nth is is with a 20 mile round trip. Meeting trades like him puts back your faith in human nature

Taking that the last gardener charged me £200 for 2 hours works and still didn’t dead head the roses. I have found some of the trades down here are not totally driven by money

Dear Nick22, Thank you for your answer. I am suffering from high blood pressure but I have had difficulties sleeping since my husband died. It is such a horrible situation we are all in. I contacted my surgery today and hopefully, I can get counseling soon. Might help me. Do you have any support? Sending lots of love and hugs.

Tomorrow will be the 3rd anniversary of my husband’s sudden death and I’m just not coping.

Dear Annaessex, I have a good neighbour and she invites me once a week for dinner. She also helps me with the paperwork.
I also talk to a old friend of my brother via Jitsi-meet. (It is free and I don not even have to register.) He is 87 and he lost his wife 3 years ago. We are talking every day. Even if one of us is watching TV, it still feels as if the other one is just next door. (The PCs are running all day long.) The neighbour next to my brother’s house has helped me with the garden several times.
Have you asked your GP if you could get some sleeping tablets. I used Melatonin (Brand names: Circadin Adaflex, Ceyesto, Slenyto, Syncrodin.) I am off them now. If you get some, read up on side effects, always. You can read them on the NHS website. (Also, you have to be over 55 to take them.)

Yeh she doesnt drive does she ? Quite a drive for me to Saltburn tbh … will have a think. Not that confident at going a long way since my husband passed tbh xx

Thank you, Nick. It is good to have support and have good people around you. I am only taking occasionally Kalms now before I took them every day and Nytol but I did not want to be too dependent on tablets. Only take them when I really cannot cope. Let’s hope that the GP will get in touch with me soon. Sending lots of love and hugs and wishing you a peaceful sleep.
